In this pupdate I’ll share with you some sweet news about the dogs, my land and house, and a new opportunity for you to come to visit me this February for the 2023 Hummingbird Retreat!
PUPPY NEWS 🤪
Remember that cute blonde puppy?
You may have seen him in my videos when a pregnant street dog gave birth in my yard.
His name is Fieval and I'm happy to say has been co-adopted by Luke at Karuna and myself (aka co-parenting).
He is full of life and brings the sweetest joy into our lives.
Although…he has a funny quirk of peeing all over you when he gets excited! It’s his way of showing his love 😜

The next Hummingbird Retreat is here!
This week long retreat is a lovingly crafted experience here with me in Guatemala designed to give your heart and soul a needed dose of renewing magic.

LAND NEWS
it’s coming along! 💪
My house is coming along slowly and surely since we began construction in June.
The bodega (shed) has been constructed with the Light Clay Straw method of Natural Building (watch my video) and we’ve finished the foundation and are just starting the walls of the house in cob - a mixture of clay, sand, straw and water (watch my video).
And, I spent my first night camping out on my land!
As I built my fire I felt a deep connection to my (our) ancestors who had a deep knowledge of how to warm, protect, and feed themselves in the darkness. It wasn’t the most comfortable night sleeping on the ground, but at least I had my sleeping bag and Fieval to snuggle me all night.
